How to publish a field for fundraising goal, which will reflect on the fundraising thermometer. This is for the JoomlaTabs fundraising system.

1. JoomlaTabs Fundraising
Installing a field for Fundraising Goal
That will be editable by the Fundraiser,
and show on the dynamic Fundraising
Thermometer.

2. JoomlaTabs Fundraising
● A user can modify their fundraising goal at any
time, but first it must be published.
● To publish a fundraising goal, you will add it as
a field to the Community Builder settings, as
described on the following slide.

3. Publish Fundraising Goal
● Login as Joomla Admin from the backend.
● Select Components -> Community Builder ->
Field Management. Click on the "New Field"
button.

4. Create New Field
● The new field should
be set as a Text Field
and the name should
be "cb_goal" - You
can set the title and
rest of the settings to
whatever you like.

5. Show at Registration
● Make sure it is
published and visible
under contact
information or another
tab so the users will
be able to edit it later.
You might also want it
to show at registration
so they enter their
goal right away.

6. Fundraising Goal
● For existing
users, the
fundraising
goal may
show on their
contact tab.

7. User can add Fundraising Goal
● The user, when
logged into their
fundraising page, can
click Edit / Update
Your Profile.
● From the Contact Info
tab (or where the
admin added cb_goal
field) they can modify
their goal.

8. Fundraising Goal visible
● Fundraising goal will
now show on the tab,
as well as reflect on
the JoomlaTabs
thermometer.
