Length: 24-26 minutes
•Megan Gunning takes viewers on an active on-the-site tour of
Monmouth County, walking the trails, visiting villages, horseback
riding, sailing, climbing to the top of Sandy Hook Lighthouse, and
trying her luck at fishing.

•We start with a birds-eye view of the county from a helicopter and
an introduction of where we're taking the viewer.

MEGAN GUNNING
Series Host
Megan Gunning is a spokesperson and television
personality who has worked for various networks including
Discovery Communications, Viacom, News Corporation,
Tribune, NBC, Fox, Turner Broadcasting and CBS.
She was the original host of NJ FRESH!, a five-episode series
broadcast on NJN. Megan has participated in the
Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms program in the
US and Ireland and is an advocate of sustainable agriculture
and the farm-to-table movement. In 2013 and 2014, Megan
hosted GNJP's pilot for FRESH! and OPEN SPACES &
HISTORIC PLACES IN MORRIS COUNTY.
She is a graduate of University of Vermont's Institute of
Artisan Cheese, studied Dairy Foods through Cornell's
Extension Program, is a certified artisan cheesemaker and
completed the NJ Agriculture Society's Leadership
Development Program.
BOB SZUTER
Producer/Editor
Bob Szuter, writer-producer and editor, worked
in short video and documentary programming at
NJN for over twenty years.
He has written, produced and edited programs
on New Jersey's history and environment with
shows airing nationally on PBS, including
Morristown: Where America Survived. His last
documentary for NJN, The Power of the
Governor, won the 2012 New York Regional
Emmy for Best Politics Program.
Bob is an independent writer-producer and
editor on broadcast and online media. He
produced and edited GNJP's Open Spaces &
Historic Places in Morris County and The Duke
Dialogues in 2014 and Real World Science in
Your Backyard in 2013.
JOE CONLON
Videographer
Joe Conlon is the owner/operator of Conlon
Video Works and is Director of Photography for
Colameco's Food Show, State of the Arts and Due
Process, and provides high quality camera,
lighting, sound and engineering services for a
wide range of broadcast and corporate clients
including GNJP.
He handles documentary, news, sports and
magazine format single camera shoots. Joe has
received 14 Emmy nominations and 5 Emmys in
just under 3 years.
Joe was videographer for GNJP's Open Spaces &
Historic Places in Morris County and coordinated
the production of Framing Climate Change - part
of the Duke Dialogues.

JOANNE RUSCIO
Executive Producer
As president and executive producer of GNJP,
JoAnne has produced five programs for TV and
web in the two-and-a- half years GNJP has
existed. She is the founder of GNJP.
Previously, she developed, raised funds for and
served as co-executive producer of NJ Fresh!, a
five-part series on NJ agriculture that aired on
NJN. JoAnne was marketing director of NJN for
more than ten years and served as
communications director for NJ state parks and
forests for over a decade.
JoAnne founded Greener New Jersey
Productions because of her love for New Jersey's
natural world and historic legacy, much of which
seems to be unknown to many people in and out
of the Garden State.

GNJP is a Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit producing videos on
farming, open spaces and historic places in New Jersey for television
and web. Through the power of locally produced media, GNJP turns

AHALF-HOURVIDEO •GNJP seeks to develop and produce a half- hour video for online and TV in 2016. •This will be the second in a series on parks and other green and historic places in New Jersey. •We're striving to engage new and hard- to-reach audiences. FOCUSONMONMOUTH •The first episode in the series Open Spaces & Historic Places in Morris County was produced and broadcast in spring 2014 and continues to air on NJTV. •The second in the series will be Open Spaces & Historic Places in Monmouth County. KEEPINGITLOCAL •We are traveling through Monmouth County to collect stories, learn about the natural habitat, hike the trails, explore the shore, enjoy the activities, tour the gardens, and meet the stewards of the green spaces and historic sites. MEGAN GUNNING Series Host Megan Gunning is a spokesperson and television personality who has worked for various networks including Discovery Communications, Viacom, News Corporation, Tribune, NBC, Fox, Turner Broadcasting and CBS. She was the original host of NJ FRESH!, a five-episode series broadcast on NJN. Megan has participated in the Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms program in the US and Ireland and is an advocate of sustainable agriculture and the farm-to-table movement. In 2013 and 2014, Megan hosted GNJP's pilot for FRESH! and OPEN SPACES & HISTORIC PLACES IN MORRIS COUNTY. She is a graduate of University of Vermont's Institute of Artisan Cheese, studied Dairy Foods through Cornell's Extension Program, is a certified artisan cheesemaker and completed the NJ Agriculture Society's Leadership Development Program.
  • 33. BOB SZUTER Producer/Editor Bob Szuter, writer-producer and editor, worked in short video and documentary programming at NJN for over twenty years. He has written, produced and edited programs on New Jersey's history and environment with shows airing nationally on PBS, including Morristown: Where America Survived. His last documentary for NJN, The Power of the Governor, won the 2012 New York Regional Emmy for Best Politics Program. Bob is an independent writer-producer and editor on broadcast and online media. He produced and edited GNJP's Open Spaces & Historic Places in Morris County and The Duke Dialogues in 2014 and Real World Science in Your Backyard in 2013. JOE CONLON Videographer Joe Conlon is the owner/operator of Conlon Video Works and is Director of Photography for Colameco's Food Show, State of the Arts and Due Process, and provides high quality camera, lighting, sound and engineering services for a wide range of broadcast and corporate clients including GNJP. He handles documentary, news, sports and magazine format single camera shoots. Joe has received 14 Emmy nominations and 5 Emmys in just under 3 years. Joe was videographer for GNJP's Open Spaces & Historic Places in Morris County and coordinated the production of Framing Climate Change - part of the Duke Dialogues.

The GNJP Board Advisors and Production Team JOANNE RUSCIO Executive Producer As president and executive producer of GNJP, JoAnne has produced five programs for TV and web in the two-and-a- half years GNJP has existed. She is the founder of GNJP. Previously, she developed, raised funds for and served as co-executive producer of NJ Fresh!, a five-part series on NJ agriculture that aired on NJN. JoAnne was marketing director of NJN for more than ten years and served as communications director for NJ state parks and forests for over a decade.
