5. I don’t need a union It is impossible to get sacked, because you have got to get a warning, a verbal warning, a so and so warning I don’t really see how they can help me. If I have got a problem I will go to my line manager. Some of the people I work for are really approachable so I have got enough people at work and procedures in line to look after me I think. I don’t need a union. Things have changed slightly if you have an industrial dispute now there are much more options open to you to be able to find somebody to help you fight your cause…. The internet is full of places you can go to and people who want to help you sort yourself out…that probably did not exist 10-20 years ago
