•Back in Argentina where I grew up
my parents sent me to buy 10 meters
of rope for our sailboat.
•To my surprise, the owner of the
shop asked me to measure and cut
the rope on my own.
•At that time, I thought that the
owner of the shop was not very
bright allowing the customers to
measure the rope themselves.

put them on a scale and advised me
“we sell them by the kilo”.
