In Order to Dominate Pinterest you got to turn Browsers into Buyers! It all starts with your
Profile! Assuming you know your niche and interest; use the search bar to find if it is of
interest to Pinterest users! Once you choose your business type or topic, this makes it
easier for people to find you!
Link your Website to Pinterest and Verify it, If you got a Personal profile its easy to turn it
into a Business one. Apply for Rich Pins and Add the Pin browser button to your
site/blog.
Use a Clear Photo of you NOT YOUR LOGO, unless you are an established brand offline.
Try to use same Image as you use across other Online Platforms e.g. Facebook for
congruence. Your followers on those platforms will easily recognise you on Pinterest as
well!
Add your Location esp. if you are a local business serving a local clientele. Even if you are
an affiliate marketer, you want to build locally too don’t you?
Create 6-10 Boards i.e.: How to Boards, Product Review & Feature Boards, Blog Boards,
Inspirational Boards, Behind the scenes Boards…

Find appealing content & Visuals to share. Remember you wont be pinning just your own Pins. That
wont get you far! I usually check out Sniply, Buzzfeed, Learns.it etc. for content ideas. Or Create Your
Own Images via Canva.com, Pablo, iPiccy, etc. and share your affiliate offers, services or products!
Create Your List of Content Sources: Inc. other social media like FB, LinkedIn G+ and blogs!
Not forgetting our very Important Keywords so that your Pins Can be found on Search too.
