How to use PowerPoint

2. On bar with Home, Insert, Design etc, click
on Design. Choose a background for your
PowerPoint.
Next to the backgrounds, you can click on
color and change the colors.
Under Home, you can change the font,
size, and color of the text.
Make a title page with the name of your
Indian tribe and the first names of the
people in your group.
3. Under Home, click new slide.
Your group will make one slide per
topic. Put the topic name in the title
box and the information in the “click
to add text” box.
Work as a group to make each slide.
Include pictures
4. When you have finished your PowerPoint,
click on Animations.
You will see a variety of slide transitions to
choose from.
Choose a transition for each slide.
5. To preview your PowerPoint, click View, then
click Slide Show.
The PowerPoint will appear on the entire
screen. To move to the next slide, press the
space bar, click the mouse anywhere on the
screen, or press the right arrow key.
6. Press the Windows symbol and click save
as. Save your project to the class
pendrive.
Title your project with the name of your
Native American group.
I will place each group’s PowerPoint or
Movie on the class blog.
