Kate's Project Trust works in the slum areas of Pattaya in Thailand and since its inception in 2006 has helped hundreds of children attend school and also improved living conditions for many families. Although a small organization, Kate's Project has big aspirations and has made a great impact on the scattered communities across the city of Pattaya. By far the most important aim of the Trust is to offer education to the poorest of families, where schooling is seen as an expensive and unachievable luxury. To date some 150 children attend various schools in the region and as well as school fees, the Project also funds a daily lunch and of course a school uniform and any teaching materials that are needed.
