  2. Encoding – registration/receiving/processing/combining information Storage – creation of permanent record of encoded information Retrieval – calling back stored information in response to some cue for use in a process/activity
  3. 1 st link – apples smashed on a trolley cart 2 nd link – apples raining down on a loaf of bread 3 rd link – milk carton kicking a loaf of bread 4 th link – pouring milk on a bar of soap 5 th link – soap man putting on socks 6 th link – putting biscuits in socks
  4. Information you know well – ex. Numbers
  5. For each of the numbers from 1 to 10 (and even up to 20, really), you associate with each number a word that rhymes with that number. 
  6. instead of using words that rhyme with the numbers as the pegs, you use the actual shape  of the numbers as pegs
  7. Sound alike – sound alike Alphabet pet words rhyme with the letter they are associated with
  8. Sharpened memories help entrepreneurs develop self-mastery
  9. Keen observation – better analysis of the market and possible opportunities
