  • 4. What is Pinterest? A virtual pin-board    Used to organize and share ideas and things that you find on the web. Browse pin-boards created by others to discover new things. Each image contains a link back to the website it came from. 3
  • 5. Pinterest Fun Facts:     Pinterest is the third most popular social network in the US in terms of traffic. US users spend an average of 1 hour and 17 minutes on the site. Pinterest is retaining and engaging users as much as 2-3 times as efficiently as Twitter was at a similar time in its history. There are 10 times more clicks on the ‘Pin-It’ button than on the ‘Tweet This’ one. 5

  • 9. How can I use Pinterest?  Pinterest allows members, supporters and other Pinterest users to see what your organization is about visually.  Organizations are voluntary, therefore they are supposed to be fun. Pinterest is a fun media outlet! 9

  4. Importance: -Sometimes when you are on Pinterest other people may see something that should be on that board. Having a group board allows people to directly add those images without leaving to just one person to do. In an organization this is important!
