University hosting needs are not dissimilar from the public sector, where control panels like cPanel are dominant. Scot Hacker describes how the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism uses cPanel to increase security and reduce administrative overhead.

- Even if you're just hosting one site on a box, do you really have time to do learn how to (or remember how to, or find time to) do all of this stuff manually?
