Open a PPT slide, as well
as a YouTube video
that you are using.

Once you have
chosen the
YouTube video,
• Click on Share
• Click on Embed
• Select “Use old
embed code.”

or ctrl-C
• In PPT, Insert → Video.
• Select Video from Web Site

• In PPT, Insert Video.
• Select Video from File
• After choosing the video, resize
accordingly.

Imported videos can easily be edited using
Video Tools.
• Once imported:
• Double-click on the video
• Under Video Tools, click on Format to
change effects i.e. border

Under Video Tools, click on Playback to edit the
length of the video.
Determine the time frames that you desire.
Click on Trim Video & set beginning & ending
times.
Can use Fade Duration for fading in & out.

13. Inserting an Audio clip
• Click on Audio → Audio from File → choose your audio file
• Double-click on the Audio clip for
Audio Tools menu to appear.
Right-click on Audio clip for to Trim audio clip or other options.
14. Inserting an Audio clip
• Trim audio clip using trimming tools.
• Can hide Audio clip image by sending to back.
• Can use animation to “trigger” audio clip.
