14. Why Did You Choose To Go There?
Christianity as a concept is intriguing to me.
To see how others worship The Lord
To learn about Christianity because it’s one
of the biggest religion in the U.S
To experience the rituals within the church
and how they worship Jesus.
15. What & How
I went into this whole thing with an open mind. I
felt uncomfortable at first when I showed up at the
church, but the service got better and I started to
relax.
I asked my friend to go with me
I called to ask if I can take pictures or videos
I went on Sunday for an 11:30 service
I thought it was interesting and enjoyable

People were very involved during the ceremony
and interacted with what the pastor was talking
about.
The pastor was preaching about situations that had
to do with real life and how we should appreciate
what The Lord has blessed us with
I noticed people were emotional, and at some
point, some people were tearing up.
The ceremony was active and lively.

African American churches are very big on gospel
music within their church
Their pastor involves the members of congregation
in his ceremony
After church, most African American churches do
Sunday lunches, and Sunday dinners.
A very welcoming community
Everyone has respect for each other and treats one
another like family.

What is your position on the ordination of women
for positions of church leadership?
What are your views regarding divorce and
remarriage?
Do you believe that believing in Jesus Christ is the
only way to Heaven?
During the ceremony, I couldn’t really ask questions
because the ceremony was to active and involved
members from the audience. All I did was watch and
take it all in.
