The Maldives Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) was founded in 1998 to promote tourism in the Maldives. MTPB's vision is to be the most preferred island destination in the world, and its mission is to promote sustainable tourism growth that benefits both the environment and Maldivian people. MTPB works to strengthen the Maldives' image in key markets, position it as a premium destination, and diversify its visitor base and industries through research and private sector support.
