R2-- (R2)/7
1 4 x+y
0 1 (x+2y)/7
R1--R1-4R2
1 0 3x/7-y/7
0 1 (x+2y)/7
so on equating
(3x-y)/7 = 2
(x+2y)/7 = -3
on solving above 2 eq
x= 1 &
y = -11
