This story is about a trip to Rome. Brittany created this powerpoint when she was in 6th grade. Pay attention to all the effects that she put in this powerpoint......very creative I must say.

2. I was so happy that I was going to Rome.

3. Ten,nine,eight,seven, six,five,four,three ,two,one!!

4. Spring Break is here!!!!! I was so happy I was going to Rome. I took a book to write in. Here I go on a 10 hour plane to Paris. There is a TV for everyone.

5. Teresa, my mom’s cousin went with us. Yes ,we are here in Paris! Oh no!! This can’t be right. I don’t have seats with my mom or Teresa. I guess I can live with it. It’s only 2 hour until we get to Rome.

6. “ Mom, don’t know what the passenger was telling me. I just said yes and no to the things she told me. The Colosseum is so close to the hotel. The hotel’s name is Veneto.

7. “ Let’s unpack,” Teresa said. “ You wish,”I said “ We are in Rome for one whole week,”I said “ We will unpack later “ I said. We went to St. Peter’s square.” Hey,why are there a lot of people. Pope John the ll is sick.”Oh , no!! It was so fun today.I can’t sleep, but it’s 1:00am’but in the us it’s 9:00am.

8. When I was in Rome I did all these amazing things. I went to the Trevi fountain. Did you know that a tradition holds that if you throw coins into this 1732 Nicola Salvi fountain, you sill ensure a return to Rome. I went to St. Peter Basilica. I got to see the burial site of St. Peters and I saw a huge statue of St. Peters, I also got to see Michelangelo's pieta’.

9. The Coliseum was the back breaking labor, to build the greatest of amphitheatres. It was carried out by a horde of Jewish Slaves, bought here following the suppression of their revolt in Judea. The structure has been the archetype for the world’s sports stadium ever since.

10. I wrote this in my book: The pope might die today. We saw that on the TV in the Vatican City.He died on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 9:37pm in Roman time.

11. I was packed. I was sad that we were leaving Rome. “ Hello, I am so sorry but the plane has a problem, so can you get out of the plane so we can fix it? Thank you .” the pilot said.

12. 20 minutes later… The plane is fixed. So we went back to the plane and then we waited for 30 more minutes. Then we took off, Rome to Paris.

13. 2 hours later… The plane to San Francisco left Then, we got to a hotel took minutes to get to the hotle.Then we were going down stairs and I opened the elevator and called them I was in the elevator and then it went down . I GOT STUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I went up stair. My Mom ,Teresa and I went to, Play games and called people. We went to the airport and I ran and tripped Teresa. I had a great time in Rome.
