3. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY PERFORMED
 Preparation & Review of WPS/PQR, ITP, Job Procedure etc.
 Conducting welder qualification test & preparing welder certificate.
 Reviewing calibration certificates for welding equipment.
 Quality Surveillance of welding and welders.
 Witnessing PMI verification.
 Daily Fit-Up& production welding joint inspection.
 Perform pre-welding, in-process & post-welding inspection.
 Inspection, witness & interpretation of NDT / destructive Test.
 Maintaining the quality control aspect such as testing of weld joints DP, RT, UT etc.
 Interpretation of weld Radiographs.
 Selecting the joints for ten percent radiography based on welder performance/WPS.
 Maintaining relevant Documents as per project specification.
 Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications.
 Corrosion flashing reporting.
 Witnessing post-heating & post weld heat treatment.
 Witnessing hydro test.
 Reviewing PWHT chart & reports.
 Inspection of Fabrication and Fabricated items.
 Inspection of Painting quality, thickness of coat and maintain records.
 Final visual and dimensional inspection as per approved drawings.
 Inspection of erections and erected items.
 Pressure vessels internal inspections at shutdowns.
 Inspection for bought out items as per codes & standard. And Coordination with clients.

 Corrective & Preventive action wherever applicable.
