5. Success is
very subjective & personal!
It’s a journey not destination!
Its discovering inside,
not hovering outside!
The manifestation of the best,
present in an individual!
6. As for your conclusion, I think an interlocutor could propose that as a definition of
success, and Socrates could show it to be false. For example:
Interlocutor: Success is happiness, something that benefits yourself, and it is
acheived by a process of setback, failure, and delight.
Socrates: Can one be successful or unsuccessful in any action?
Int: What do you mean?
Soc: My meaning is this: when a surgeon performs a surgery, can he perform it
successfully or unsuccessfully?
Int: Of course
Soc: And the surgeon is successful if the surgeon is happy, and not when the
surgeon is unhappy?
Int: Cetainly not!
Soc: Is the surgeon is successful if he himself is benefited, or when his petient is
benefited?
Int: When his patient is benefited of course!
Soc: And is he more successful if he never fails, or if he does fail?
Int: If he never fails, or course.
Soc: Well, Interlocutor, we've turned our original definition on its head! A surgeon's
success is not measured by his own benefit, but that of another. Further, the
surgeon who never fails is more successful than the one who does. Nor must he be
happy or delighted to be successful.
Int: I see. Well, we will have to try another definition. But it will have to wait for
another day, as I'm already late for a meeting.
17. Money chase rich people while poor are dragged by money!
It is the last motif of successful people but it is first for Poor.
Money is the favorite child of his beloved mother-Quality.
Start any Nobel work ,it wont cease for money.
19. • The glorious success has
come from those people
who have tasted
• Greatest defeats!
You wont be successful if you
have not failed many times!
20. Thomas Alva Edison-
I failed 999 times before making a successful Electrical bulb but that made me only
man to know 999 ways by which a bulb can not be made.
I missed 15 centuries by getting out in 90’s,I was blamed many times for the defeats, I am called
as most unsuccessful captain ,but that did not concern me in giving best of me on the field-
Sachin
I lost 10,000 points in my career,
My team lost over 100 matches
due to my poor performance,
29 times my team relied on me
for the final points
but I dubbed them
I lost 5 championships
I failed through out my life
That’s why
I succeeded! Michal Jorden.
