Kids Kingdom Day Care transpired to provide excellence in early years care
for all children. Our focus is for all children to 'learn through play', in a safe,

3. Special Needs Children
The term 'Special Educational Needs (SEN) has a legal definition, referring to
children with learning difficulties or disabilities that make it harder for them to learn
or access education than most children of the same age.
Many children will have SEN of some kind during their education. KKDC is
experienced in this area and is qualified to offer help and support for your child.

4. KKDC is a very welcoming day care and parents and children should feel that they can approach the child's
key person or any other member of staff about any issues or questions they may have concerning their child.
We appreciate that when collecting your child in the evening, you will have other commitments and
attending parents evening is a great way to obtain an in-depth account of your childs development. At the
end of each day when you collect your child, your key worker will fill you in on the eventful day your child
has had, what activities they carried out, what they most enjoyed, what they had for lunch, what stories they
heard, what songs they sang and what paintings they did. The end of the day is a great way for you to catch
up on events and discuss any child related queries you may have.

At KKDC, we believe that introducing children to a well-balanced and nutritional diet from an early
age will steer them on the right path with regard to healthy eating.
Over the past 20 years, childhood obesity rates have doubled and are now at epidemic rates.
Overweight children and teens are more likely to develop serious health problems such as high
cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. If current trends continue,
