Formal presentations Building & Reinacting Online Resources Fund Raising to Give Back
PBS is not just a television resource. It is much more than a pledge drive or Lawrence Welk… not that there is anything wrong with that! Each broadcast created now includes segments that are streamable online in addition to the option of purchasing DVD copies. You as an educator have the ability to record on-air episodes and show in your classroom for teaching purposes up to 1 year. I will show you where to find more information about your copyrights as an educator later in our time together. Each of the episodes also includes detailed Teacher Guides and complimentary lesson plans and teaching resources on the National Endowment for the Humanities educator site – Edsitement. I will also encourage you to participate in PBS Teachers Connect to explore other resources and see how they can support what you find for your curriculum from We Shall Remain.
