   modul bercetak bagi kursus ini.


2. Answer in Malay or English. Jawab dalam Bahasa Melayu atau Bahasa Inggeris.


3. Download the language version of the assignment template concerned from myVLE for
   preparation and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12
   point Times New Roman and 1.5 line spacing.

   Muatturunkan templet tugasan versi bahasa yang berkenaan daripada myVLE untuk
   penyediaan dan penyerahan tugasan anda. Tugasan anda hendaklah ditaip dengan
   menggunakan saiz font 12 huruf Times New Roman dan langkau baris 1.5.


4. Your assignment should be between 2500 to 3000 words excluding references. The number of
   words should be indicated at the end of your assignment.

EVALUATION PENILAIAN
1.   This assignment accounts for 30% of the marks for the course mentioned and shall be
     assessed based on the Rubrics provided in the Attachment.

       Tugasan ini akan menyumbangkan 30% markah kepada kursus tersebut dan akan dinilai
       berdasarkan kepada Rubrik yang diberikan dalam Lampiran.

2.     You will be informed of the assignment marks before the Final Semester Examination
       commences.

       Anda akan dimaklumkan tentang markah tugasan ini sebelum Peperiksaan Akhir Semester
       bermula.

Functionalism was a major paradigm shift in the history of psychology. The
functionalist approach focused on the examination of the function and
purpose of mind and behaviour. Rather than the structures of the mind,
functionalism was interested in mental processes and their relation to
behaviour.


PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to evaluate the
current status of functionalism school of thought in psychology.                        For
psychology students, they are expected to be able to write a critique paper in
order to learn more about psychology articles, writing and the research
process itself.


REQUIREMENTS
Choose any one of the psychology articles or journals which related to the
Functionalism school of thought in psychology. Once you read the articles,
thoroughly, write the paper completely with the introduction, thesis
statement, article summary, analysis and conclusion.


You are required to provide your critique of the articles. Your critique must be
focused on problems with the author argument, presentation, or on
information and alternatives that have been overlooked that only related to
Functionalism.

The functionalist approach focused on the examination of the function and purpose of mind and behaviour. Rather than the structures of the mind, functionalism was interested in mental processes and their relation to behaviour. PURPOSE The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to evaluate the current status of functionalism school of thought in psychology. For psychology students, they are expected to be able to write a critique paper in order to learn more about psychology articles, writing and the research process itself. REQUIREMENTS Choose any one of the psychology articles or journals which related to the Functionalism school of thought in psychology.
