How Good Dog Training Makes For a Happy Dog
1. How Good Dog Training Makes For a
Happy Dog
Good dog training can be as simple as learning how to effectively communicate with
your dog. When your dog understands clearly what's required of him, then it's much
easier to establish some ground rules for discipline and training.
However, if you begin treating your dog like a baby or a child and expecting it to do
as it's told simply because you spoke to it, then your training efforts fly out the
window.
The majority of good dog training methods are based around dog psychology. Dogs
in the wild are pack animals. They know that the pack leader makes the rules and
wild dogs will show submissive behaviour before the pack leader to show they
accept their position in the pack. They expect to work in order to receive a reward. In
2. the wild, this is called hunting. They sniff and scrounge and hunt for food, treats or
prey and they are rewarded for their efforts by being able to eat.
If you understand the basic animal instincts of your dog, then you can use some
good dog training methods to use their own instincts to instill some disciplinary
behavior and good behavior around the home.
Perhaps the easiest way to begin these training techniques is to remember that dogs
are happy to work if they know there's a reward in it for them at the end. When it's
time to get some training practice done with your dog, make sure you have some
handy treats or snacks nearby. Give your dog a command and show him what you
expect. When he obeys, give him a treat and praise him using a high pitched, happy
voice. After one or two attempts with this method, your dog will soon understand that
obeying your command is the same as working for a reward.
Good dog training is about positive reinforcement and helping your dog to
understand his place within your family 'pack'. You should never yell at your dog and
you should never hit or harm a dog. These actions don't teach the dog anything other
than you're being aggressive for reasons they don't fully understand. Displays of
aggression from you can also cause a dog to retaliate out of fear. A fearful dog may
become unpredictable, nervous or even aggressive.
By using training methods that include positive
reinforcement, it's easy to get your dog to understand
what's expected of him happily. This same principle
applies to every aspect of your training. If you're
working on potty training, then take your puppy outside
and encourage him to do his business. When he does
what comes naturally, tell him the command you want
3. him to associate with going potty and praise him for doing it. He will quickly learn that
it makes you happy for him to go to the spot you picked out in the garden.
All in all I believe in what you provide training and also how you behave with the cute
dog they always remember. So love dogs And also All Animals they need your
support.
