The survey received responses from 1,500 Swedish blog readers and bloggers in February 2009. Most respondents were female, between 16-20 years old, and read 6-10 blogs per day. They enjoy reading blogs about everyday life and spend 6-10 hours per week reading blogs, often in the evenings. Compared to 2008, respondents in 2009 spent more time reading blogs and were more open to contact from businesses. However, few bloggers reported actual dialogue with companies after posting negative opinions online.
