1. Dream to be millionaire got shattered
Synopsys: Dear Friend, Its not story, Its real thing happened with me right now. It was part of big web
spam targeting entrepreneur / businessman. I did tried to find some trace in google when I was getting
pulled, but not able to find any thing that can explain whole operation. So I though to narrate you all
events and details. That might help you to save your time and effort from getting trapped by these
spammers.
1st of all let me quickly introduce all the characters involved so it will be easy to understand whole story. All
the characters are true as introduced to me by email and calls.
Characters are
Mr Kumar : Its myself, a technocrat turned entrepreneur. Left job for entrepreneurship. Even after 5
years struggling for survival. Still high in moral and energy.
Frank : So called guy who started whole spam. He was intended to be my business partner for the deal.
He is suppose to be staying at UK.
Rudd: Purchase Manager of So called Watch making company chrome at Belgium.
Praveen Gopal : So called dealer of Quartz Stones based at Mumbai.
Deal : Purchase of precious and natural Quartz Stones of 98.8% clearity
3 Months Back: I got one email through one of reputed business directory portal probably
TradeIndia.com . One gentle man named Frank had a email stating he is looking to source some material
from india. He need help ( I deleted actual email so cant put actual transcript of email).
Being an entrepreneur and struggling for money thought not bad to give a try.
3 Week Back : Got another email from gentle man stating there is one watch making coming in Belgium,
2 year back he did purchased some precious natural quartz stone of 99.8% from some indian trader
through one of his Indian Partner say Late Mr Chadra. Profit margin is around 50%. Due to his poor
health he need a partner in executing this project.
I did send him reply, if its all legal then only I can help.
Thought I was suspicious from day one but thought to keep his entertaining until find modulus operandi
for the spam.

behavior was a bit odd, but it was all to build a case that he is too busy. After few call and email I got

Was good active day : As soon as I got this order email, I got call from Mumbai guy (so far he was very
hostile) but now became proactive. He called saying going to rajasthan for a week. So in case need
sample have to pay for 300 gm sample (That’s around 2.5 Lakhs).
“So it was decision of 2.5 Lakh investment vs 60 Lakh profit in week time.”
4 Day back Continue…I did few follow-up with Praveen to get his office address..

visiting Mumbai on 30th. He is coming through Singapore to Mumbai……
He explained how deal will take place.
As bank is not cooperating in Foreign exchange, he is going to have cash deal. He tied up with Embassy.
He is going to bring $, and embassy has made arrangement with Indian bank to convert to Rupees. So for
us its just going to be a local domestic Deal.

3 days Back Continue …It was test time and there was pressure from all the 3, Praveen, Frank and
Rudd.
I did asked one of my friend at Mumbai to verify if office address provided by Praveen is valid
My friend sent his guy to search the office and found that this office was not existing. I sent a text email to
Praveen stating give me your right address. He called me next day stating… address is right but its
tough to reach unless you call me. I told my guy called you many times. He told he don’t pickup unknown
number call.
By now I was having good clarity about there strategy. Probably they were looking to get 2.5 Lakh from
me on the name of samples and disappear or might have bigger game for rest 3 KG material i.e around
21 Lakhs.
2 Days Back..Then I thought to change strategy and I asked Frank to deposit money to My account
rather sending to dealer. Probably he sensed, his game is over and then he stopped sending emails and

Just missed another point. I don't think it is appropriate for you to transfer money to dealer account. If dealer will
know about you, quite possible we might loose bargain power with them.

without any loos, if material is rejected due to quality issue.
