The document outlines the 5 steps in program planning for creating a promotional video for Bulacan State University:
1. Define objectives such as showcasing the university's beauty and inspiring viewers
2. Determine priority to showcase the university
3. Identify resources like technical, research, and listening skills
4. Execute action programs by conducting a two-day shoot of the different colleges and editing the video
5. Maintain control by continually polishing the video until satisfied
It then lists the distribution of tasks among group members with different roles like camera operation, editing, and organizing reports.
1. 5 Steps in Program Planning
1. Objectives
To showcase the beauty and splendor of our beloved university,
Bulacan State University, its various colleges and facilities that will
inspire and pique the interest of the viewers
To establish and develop a sense of pride among the BulSUans and
appreciate the institution that is doing its best to provide quality
education for all of its students
To promote the university as an effective and valuable avenue in
building a community of students who are competent dynamic and
proactive in their chosen fields.
2. Determine Priority
To showcase the beauty and splendor of our beloved university,
Bulacan State University, its various colleges and facilities that will
inspire and pique the interest of the viewers
3. Identify Resources
Technical Skills. Again, we heavily relied on the photography,
videography and editing prowess of our members.
Research Skills. Before executing our tasks, we first did our research
on the various colleges that make up our university. We also
prepared letters before our shoot to ensure that we will be
permitted to shoot in a formal manner.
Listening Skills. We listened and respected the opinions and
concepts of each and everyone before conducting any further
actions.
4. Execute action programs
We had a two-day shoot and again we split the group into two teams
to lessen the time consumption. Since we have two cameras, it was
easy for us to shoot the different colleges.
Before shooting, we submitted a letter to the dean of some of the
colleges so that they have a formal idea of what our project is all
about.
We recorded for the audio or voice over then we researched for the
appropriate background music.
2. We edited this promotional video for three days and got the
consensus of the group if they’re happy and satisfied with the
outcome.
5. Maintaining Control
We never stop polishing and rehashing the video until we are finally
satisfied with it.
