2. RISK ASSESSMENT FOR THE BEACH
• Doing a risk assessment for the beach, before going, has been essential. By
identifying and analysing risks we have come up with ways of how to prevent/
minimise the risks from happening.
• We made a risk assessment table by identifying the risk, scoring the likelihood of it
happening out of 10, scoring the severity of the risk out of 10, multiplying the two to
get a number for the overall risk and then coming up with a control measure.
• The main things we will take away from doing a risk assessment is to not go into the
sea over knee length, be careful with the equipment near the sea, making sure that
someone is with the equipment all the time and being careful near the roads when
crossing.
3. PROPS FOR THE BEACH
• As a group we discussed what kind of props we would like to use on the day but also what props we
actually had access too in reality. Here is a list of props that we are hoping to use on the day:
o Speaker
o Sunglasses
o Balloons
o Inflatable duck and beach ball
o Pineapple
o Coloured cigarettes
o Skateboard
o Water gun
These kind of props will help to create the summery vibe that we are aiming to capture at the beach.
The coloured cigarettes add to the colourful theme that we are hoping will be consistent throughout
the video.
