The Warner Bros. company has been achieving enormous
success all over the globe. This report shows how the
company was established by four brothers, and started
creating world-class content. It looks at some of the
company’s divisions and their roles. As well as the
company’s influence on communities.
5. BODY OF REPORT
Warner Bros. Pictures, not only produces the films,
but also finances them. It releases films in varied
regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia,
and owns offices in over 30 countries.
2001 was the year Warner Bros. pictures broke numerous
records, after distributing several films that year including
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The Harry Potter
film reached $973.6 million dollars, becoming the studio’s
highest earning film (Warner Bros., 2017).
6. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE), is responsible
for distributing home entertainment content, and making it
available to consumers in many forms.
Warner Bros. Television Group, produces TV series, and
allocates the entertainment content to TV outlets universally.
7. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood was created to provide a
chance for people to explore the studio where the most successful
TV series and movies are made.
The Warner Bros. also owns and manages Warner Bros. Studio
Leavesden, which is where the Harry Potter series was made, and
therefore the studio is home of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London –
The Making of Harry Potter.
8. The Warner Bros. has a global impact and has made
sure to fulfil this role. It has made an outstanding
dedication to have a positive impact on communities
and make philanthropy a crucial part of its
responsibility.
The company donates to non-profit organisations
through its programs. For example, Warner Bros.’
Impact Giving Program is an employee engagement
program that provides various ways for employees in
its official offices all around the world to support non-
profit organisations (Warner Bros., 2017)
