8. A PURPOSE ON HOW TO IMPROVE IT
the project is developed in three different parts:
1) The row of trees that runs along the sidewalk from Piazza Monte Tita-
no to Piazza Rimembranze serves as a link and as a sun and visual pro-
tection for the play area (which has been extended by reducing the adja-
cent parking space) and for the new square designed for the supermarket.
2) The intervention is characterized by a pavement in sanpietrini (leucitite); it
it follows the line of trees, to emphasize its function, and widens in the areas adja-
cent to the play area and the supermarket. The intermediate bed will be repla-
ced by a square used by the local market and by the population in everyday life.
3) The large green areas of the Tommaso Pini elementary school, already used for
activitiessummer,inourprojecttheywouldplayacentralroleinthereactivationofthe

for evening classes, summer use for soccer / volleyball tournaments

9. 3 TO THE STUDY OF A PART
To get to the idea of home, and get clo-
ser to the concept of living, in Western
culture the first thing to note is that the
ancient Greek-Roman house in particu-
lar and the modern house are organized
starting from inverse principles. Today the
house is a centrifugal experience, made
up of rooms that open with doors and
windows that give on the outside. The
ancient house, on the other hand, is cen-
tripetal: the rooms look towards an inner
courtyard, being closed to the outside.
In the same way if the architecture of the
churches is similar to that of the halls of
the palaces and not to that of the pagan
temples, it is because they are domina-
ted by another way of thinking about
space. The Greek and Roman temples
were not places of ecclesia, of assembly
of the people, not destined for the mee-
ting: in them only the gods and priests
could enter. On the contrary, from the
first moment the assembly of the faithful
was the goal of the Christian basilicas.
In this way we see how the architectural
space according to cultures, places and
historical times has favored both the full
(as in the case of Greek-Roman or Indian
temples) and the void (as in the Gothic
or in the Japanese temples and in ge-
neral , in the buildings of the Far East).

10. 4 A WAY TO CONNECT TO THE OTHER
“A place is endowed with quality when, in some way appropriate to the person and its culture, it makes the individual aware of belon-
ging to a community, of his own history, of the unfolding of life, and of the space-time universe that encompasses everything what.”
Kevin Lynch

PHOTOS ABOUT ESONDATIOS IN MILAN PHOTOS ABOUT VIA VALFURVA
Seveso is an Italian river of 52 km long torrent, whose course is entirely
developed in the provinces of Como, Monza and Brianza and Milan, Lom-
bardy. Between Cavallasca and Paderno Dugnano contributes to forming
the western border of Brianza. Seveso was born in
Cavallasca, in the province of Como, on Monte Sasso, near the Swiss
border at 490 m above sea level.
It has a length of 52 km and runs covered by the municipal boundary
between Bresso and Milan to the confluence with Naviglio della Martesa-
na in Milan, for almost nine kilometers; In this section he receives the tor-
rent Molia. The present “mouth” in the Martesana is under Via Melchiorre
Gioia at the height of Via Giacomo Carissimi. From Porta Nuova, and
from the nearby Gabelle Bridge, the waters are called Redefossi Cable. In
ancient times Seveso ended in the Lambro at Melegnano.
The floods of this small stream of water are sudden and angry, sometimes
with catastrophic outcomes: in the case of abundant rains, the numerous
streams and rivers contribute to greatly increase the amount of water tran-
sported from north to south to the city of Milan

It expected series of guided tours, laboratories
activities and passage outside and inside the
ecoumuseum, holding the goals to:
-watching the proper city looking in another way
searching it’s hidden beauty and studying it’s hi-

7CONCLUSION OF THE STUDIES
NOWADAYS LIVING.
between the ephemeral and the global.
How is our living in the world changing? How is
“living” changing its form but not its being? How is
architecture adapting to this?
The text talk about the change brought about by
the increasingly evident globalization of our era
and how architecture is changing in relation to it.
Points are faced as the neonomadism of modern
man and the disorientation that can derive from it,
moreover concrete examples and others still in the
planning phase are been studied.
The choice of this theme is due to the curio-
sity to relate to the new liquid architecture
born together with these upheavals in the
life of the sedentary man of previous eras.
Many schools of anthropology have emphasized
how the culture of living shapes our vision of the
world. In this perspective, the world is perceived
through the living experience, so that it is actually
structured and given meaning according to its own
particular vision of “domesticity”.
Contemporary anthropology, in this regard, does
not limit itself to studying living and building, but
also plays a decisive role in the emergence of
urban experiences that contribute to activating a
participatory collaboration between inhabitants
and technicians in urban management and in the
construction or reconstruction. of the territory and of
the city.
These studies are based on the new perspective
of living (started in ‘900 starts from Heidegger
and arrived today with Tim Ingold) considering
the construction processes as subordina-
ted to the human faculty of producing and
living spatiality; they therefore propose to
think of self-construction as an autopoietic
place (that is, that continuously redefines) and
anthropo-poietic (self-constructs) of territorial
government.

21. ENITRE REFURBISHMENT - VERBIER
This profession involves a moral obligation to keep in mind the clear distin-
ction between “house” and “home”: with the first term we refer to the building
itself, physical, while through the term home, we mean both a physical space,
characterized by affective values and a symbolic space , condition of familia-
rity, recognition and belonging; space of rooting par excellence. The human
being is not the only species that creates shelters, yet it boasts of the specificity
for which only man lives in his own world. Man is the only species that gives
meaning to space, affecting it emotionally. Living makes us what we are and
describes our way of being in the world.
IN CONCLUSION
