The purpose of a horror genre is to scare their spectators.
The general conventions of a horror genre:
- A protagonist (the main victim/hero).
- A villain (monster, alien, serial killer).
- Other character types include: zombies, demons, ghosts, stalker, psychopath, werewolf etc.
