2. Questions I asked:
• What did you think was good?
• What can I do to improve it?
• Did you understand the genre /
purpose?
• Has your outlook on drugs changed
at all?
3. Responses to ‘What did you
think was good?’
• Response 1: Visual effects, the blend between the
music and video clips, and the changes in setting
• Response 2: I liked the part with the ‘WAY OUT’ sign,
the flashing flowers and effects of the record player,
the beginning and the marshmallows
• Response 3: The start was good with the psychedelic
effects blending in and out and I like how if you were
on a trip, you have shown exactly what it would look
and feel like
4. Responses to ‘What can I do to
improve?’
• Response 1: Transition between music in between
scenes could be smoother and the storyline could be
made clearer so its more obvious where it is going
• Response 2: The part with the clouds in the sky could
be more interesting; something could be falling out or
have flashing colours or diamonds / elephants
• Response 3: Didn’t understand the part with the
monkey and you could have a more effective ending if
you included something dramatic like a gravestone or
graveyard- show a message
5. Responses to ‘Did you
understand the genre?’
• Response 1: Yes. That it is to do with the
1960s and a trip from LSD, but not sure of the
relevance of the concerts
• Response 2: Yes a teen is enjoying drugs but
the consequences are fatal
• Response 3: I think its meant to be an
informative film relative to the 60s and drug
use
6. Response to ‘Has your outlook on
drugs changed at all?’
• Response 1: Looks fun but it can be dangerous
• Response 2: If the ending is made strong and
shocks the audience, then maybe people will
think twice
• Response 3: No but it is consequential despite
looking fun at first, it doesn’t always go to plan
7. Summary
• I need to make sure I put together a strong
ending that provokes a reaction and add more
visual effects throughout to ensure I keep it as
trippy and psychedelic as possible
• I have been successful with most of what I
want to get across to my audience, I just need
to ensure it is kept as simple and clear as
possible but with an interesting overview
