1. Company Identity
Company Identity is the overall image of a corporation or film
company. It's what makes it identifiable and unique for viewers,
investors, customers or employees. It is built and maintained by way of
branding and the use of trademarks. The company identity allows
answers to questions such as 'Who are we', 'Where are we going' and
'What kind of products do we typically produce?' We often become
familiar with certain Company Identities and associate different
types/genres/styles of films with them. For many the 'Warner Bro's'
logo is very familiar, even comforting, it will have produced films that
we've watched throughout our entire lives and we always know what
to expect.

2. What is a Film Distribution Company?
The company responsible for the marketing of a film.
They often own rights to the film for only a limited amount of time, a company
that had the rights to a film 10 years ago may no longer own it now. Film
distribution is a competitive industry and companies seem to appear and
vanish over night.
In our opening sequences we called our Film distribution Company ‘Silver
Dove Productions’

3. What is a Film Production Company?
A film production company helps with the overall production of a film. This means it
assists in budgeting, scheduling, scripting, casting and many other aspects. It
accompanies the film throughout it’s entire production. The production company takes
responsibility for finding the talent involved, from directors, to actors, to screenplay
writers and camera operators, and it is also responsible for the injuries of any members
of the crew, damage to property and legal matters.
We chose to call our production company ‘Monster Pictures’ because it reflected and
identified with our chosen genre.
