The goal is to develop the school through high standards and a supportive learning environment.
2. I. Introduction
All the countries around the world always think
about education; because, education is very important
to develop county, without it country cannot develop.
Education is very important. More education equals
more pay and less chance of unemployment. Earnings
go up with every year of school completed and get an
extra boost when a degree Program is completed.
According to this, I would like have my own school.
How can I enhance the school?

3. II. Starting the School
There are many schools where students want to
go but for the best school only. So, I have to make
standards better than other schools.
1. What are standards?
Standard describes what students should
know, and be able to do at each grade level, and it is
also very important to develop our school.

4. 3. How do schools use standards?
Schools use standards in many different ways:
Standards set goals and a plan of action for meeting
those goals.
Standards help teachers focus on teaching a specific
body of knowledge and skills.
Standards help coordinate what is taught in the
different classrooms.
Standards help the school select teaching materials.
Standards help school and parents determine what
they each can do to help students achieve.
Standards provide a way to measure student
progress.

5. 2. Who sets the standards?
Standards are set by the head teacher, and by the
state; sometime, it is set by parents.
There are two kinds of standards:
First, Content Standards. Content Standards say
what students are supposed to learn in different
subjects.
Ex: Each student will develop awareness of the
conventions of written and spoken language.
Second, Performance Standards. Performance
Standards say how well students have learned what
they are supposed to learn.
Ex: Each student will recognize and write the letters of
the alphabet. Leang Channy

7. III. Student-teacher relationships
This is a very important point. Teachers, either inside
the classroom or outside the classroom, exert a great
deal of influence on establishing a good quality of
teacher-student relationship.
In such an emotional climate the ‘most important
ingredients of effective teaching’ for teachers to build
up, were to maintain and improve a positive
relationship with students and provide respective
materials to cater for students’ needs and interests.
Students’ deeper understanding can be achieved
through dialogue and collaboration with their peers and
their teachers.

8. IV. School Rules
Students themselves can make all the rules of the
school; except, for all weapons, alcohol, illegal
drugs, tobacco, and substances injurious to health are
prohibited.
1. Student Rights:
• You have the right to be treated with respect and
kindness at school
• You have a right to a safe school
• You have a right to express your feelings provided you
do not infringe on others
• You have a right to tell your side of an issue
