Locations Information
Thislocationiswhere Iplan
to getHarvey,Henryand
Nathanto pose for the
albumcover.It isdown
Hurst Road,opposite Gravel
Lane,whichisat the endof
NorthfieldRoad,Poulner.
It isthe perfectbackdropfor
Hazmat Cat’sfront cover
because the graffitiedwall
reflectsthe factthat they
are an Indie Rockband,as
graffiti hasconnotationsof
rebellionandattitude,which
are keyelementsof Indie
Rock. I will getthemtodress
instylish,stereotypical
Rockstar clothes,thenget
themto leanagainstthe wall
rebelliously, andwithall
these elementsintertwined,
theyshouldlooklike areal
Indie Rockband.
2. Thisis the image I am
planningtouse for myCD
page,exactlyhow itishere,
but withHarvey’sleather
bootsteppingonthe weed.
The locationisjustoutside
gravel lane,whichisat the
endof NorthfieldRoad,
Poulner.
I thinkitis a great image to
use for the CD page because
the brokenbollardand
uncontrolledweeds
perfectlyreflectthe album
title of “The Unweeded
Garden” andthe fontwhich
it iswrittenin,“Urban
Jungle”,asitclearlygivesoff
the destructive,urbanmeets
nature vibe thatHazmat Cat
are goingforwiththis
album.The uncontrolled,
destructive lookalsoreflects
the verygenre of Indie Rock.
Thisis the image I’mgoingto
use for the Inside Cover,in
whichI’ll getHarvey,Henry
and Nathan to pose casually
by the wall,asif theirhaving
a nice bit of banter,to show
that Hazmat Cat are justa
groupof downto earthlads,
whichwill appeal tothe
target audience of low to
middle classmaleswhoare
fansof Indie Rockmusic,
especiallyall the Britpopacts
fromthe 90s, whofor many
definedthe stereotypical
“casual lads”look.The
locationisan alleyway
opposite the Ringwood
School main entrance, again
withlotsof graffiti toreflect
the genre of Indie Rock.
AlthoughoriginallyIwasn’t
planningonusinganimage
for the back cover,I thinkI
will probablytake aclose up
of a goodbit of graffiti from
thiswall anduse that for the
back cover,as it only
reinforcesthe rebellious,
destructive,swaggering
Indie Rockvibe.
