My Personality Paper
The person I've choose to write about in my personality paper is myself (Chris Saunders), there are
several reasons why I choose myself. I've choose me because over the past three year I've been
trying to figure myself out as a person. I thought I really knew myself very well enough, but
according to past traumatic events that has occurred recently in my life. Throughout the semester
taking two psychology classes, gave me more insight about myself. I would sit in class and listen to
the professor's lecture and describing each definition, and I would sit back and be like gosh that
sounds just like me.
As a college student, I learned that I have characteristics of being and extrovert and an introvert.
Within that statement I say I have both of the characteristics, because I am just not one. I can be
shy and quiet most times depending on who I'm around or if I am by myself in public. Don't get
me wrong though depending on the class or group of people I'm with, I will communicate, it is
more based on how comfortable I feel around others. For example, in my general psychology class,
I didn't really speak much, I did more listening than anything because I barely knew any of the
classmates and majority of the class were freshman. Another example is in my Personality
psychology class, I spoke more because I've either been around majority...show more content...
Within the both of those I know for facts that I tend to avoid large crowds of people or specific
groups. I tend to do that because most times I don't like being bothered at times or being seen by
people. If there is someone I'm trying to avoid I would try alternate routes to go without seeing
them in my sight or their sight. Within antisocial, I can sometimes shut people out my life and go
M.I.A for a while and not communicate with anyone. Those occurrences only happen when I'm not
having a great week or if something serious is

What Is My Personality Essay
Our personalities differ as much as our DNA. Each one with many different traits that make us
who we are. While my siblings did not make the brightest choices, I have become wiser in the
decisions I make to show who I truly am. My parents, also have helped me discover traits that
were in me all along. My personality consists of different traits that have helped me find my true
self. By nature, I am shy. The decisions that my siblings have made influenced my parents,
making them stricter than most. I was usually put down when I went to ask if I could stay at my
cousins' house or if I could go to my aunts for the day. Since then I always stay home and read a
book or an article about a weird subject. Shyness, just like any other personality trait, has its pluses
and minuses. The key is to harness what makes you more reserved and use it to your advantage. I
have grown since I have learned about my shyness being an issue in school and in the classroom. I
have put myself into more activities, even though I still feel the shyness in me. I have grown more
into communicating with others through my years of high school to prepare for when I go to
college. It is so to say that growing up with a family who kept me isolated from others wasn't
necessarily a bad thing. I used it as a challenge for me to grow my communication...show more

They've worked hard for everything they've got, from the clothes they wear to the roof that they
live under. I remember one time when I was ten years old and my brother was hearing me
complain about working with my dad. I was ranting about how much my fingers were hurting or
how my back ached. He told me, "why are you complaining? Mom and dad do this daily and have
been doing it for their entire lives. Look at their hands when you get home and tell me what you
saw." I waited until both my parents got home. They sit in the same exact spot every day they

Personality Test Analysis Essay
a. According self tests using the Five Factor Model, my personality has low extraversion and
emotional stability, a high degree of openness, and moderate levels of agreeableness and
conscientiousness. Low extraversion is demonstrated in both professional and social envionments.
While working a corporate job as a financial analyst, taking the time and initiative to interact with
coworkers beyond the scope of the job was limited to a brief conversation once a day with the same
two people. In large social gatherings, interactions are limited to familiar people with whom I have
pre–existing friendships. If I attend a concert by myself, I will bring a book to read in between
musical acts to prevent people from speaking to me. Low emotional...show more content...
Agreeableness is average, meaning I do not try to be either cooperative or antagonistic towards
others. I generally take a laissez–faire approach to my relationships and do not have an invested
interest because I do not believe I can significantly impact the long–term well being of others. During
conversations, I do not inquire specifically about their personal lives, I let the other person tell me
what they are comfortable about talking about and what they want me to know.
Conscientiousness is also average. I have a fair balance of structure and spontaneity. There is just
enough control and regulation in impulses to maintain a harmonized flow of daily life that will
allow for spontaneous activities. For example, school work is more or less planned out by the day
to prevent falling behind, but I will still embark on spontaneous adventures of bicycle rides to
abandoned warehouse roof tops at midnight on a school night. Survey results are consistent with
how I view myself generally. While it is impossible to be completely objective in self evaluations, I
think I am fairly in tune with my inter– and intra–relationships because I make an effort to heed
feedback. When interacting with others I pay attention to their facial expressions, body language,
tone of voice, and not only their words, but their silences. b. Compared to PSU student averages,
extraversion falls mainly in the lower third or lower mid–range,

My Personality Essay
George Bernard Shaw once said, "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
As we age, we create ourselves by developing unique personalities. It differs from each individual
because of our own perspective, values, and experiences in life. Personality is a mixture of
distinctive behaviors, thoughts, motives and emotions that characterize over time. Since I've never
paid attention to what personalities I have, it was difficult for me to determine what trait of
personalities that I adapted. But, I frequently get told that I am sweet, caring, approachable, and have
charisma. I took 3 personality tests to further understand my personality. The tests I took was the
Myers–Briggs, Temperament, and the Big 5 Personality...show more content...
I give out encouragement and positivity towards my friends. Now, almost half of all my friends
look up to me for advices. As I read through the results, it says that ENFPs are energized by being
around others. That statement is true because being social makes me feel lively. Furthermore,
ENFPs tends to procrastinate. A great example of my procrastination is starting on this paper when
it's due the next 12 hours. Overall, the Myer–Briggs Test slightly gave me a much more detailed
insight of who I am. My friends and the test results shared similar answers about my personality.
Therefore, I agree with the test because it fits my description of what my peers sees in me and as
well as how I see myself. The second test I took was the Temperament Test that contains four
fundamental personality types. One of the four types I received was sanguine. According to the
test, sanguines tend to be a social, easily amused and optimistic people. The results were quite
similar to the previous test and as well as my reasonings. But as I mentioned before, I love being
positive. It's a healthy relationship between society and our own mental state. It has countless
benefits that I wouldn't wish to trade anything more or equally as powerful. Being positive comes
along with being optimistic. Usually having those qualities are the bases of being social since it
attracts others to hang out with the ones that seems uplifting. The major reason why I

Human Personality Essay
A quote that I live by is, "People don't always behave the way you want them to, but it doesn't mean
the way they behave is wrong." This says to me that I cannot change anyone because I do not
understand or like the way someone does something. Trying to do this is trying to change one's
human personality. Human personality is what makes a person distinctive, unique, and exceptional.
Every person has a different personality and some personalities mesh better than others. Human
personality should always be praised and no one should ever put anyone down for having a
different personality. It is truly just allowing people to be who they are unless they are in violation
of other human's rights. Just as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Any...show more content...
Examples of laws like this would be: wearing a seat belt, the possession of guns, the right to
abortion, and the ability to buy alcohol on Sundays. These types of laws are there because
someone else says that it is wrong to do these things. Trying to prevent supposedly wrong things
from happening seems like good intent but is actually unjust. An example of this is seat belt laws
that try to prevent anyone from getting seriously hurt in the event of a car accident. But if the
driver or their passengers do not want to buckle up why should the law force them. It may seem
strange for some people to not want to wear their seat belt but it is just because they have a
different personality. The only just laws are the ones that punish those that actually degrade
someone's human personality. Rape, murder, robbery, and fraud are all examples of this. When
someone rapes another they are taking away their free will to do whatever they choose. And those
who commit that crime should be punished. But to create laws to prevent rapes from occurring is
unjust. These types of laws assume that people will do wrong and that their human personality is
wrong. People have the right to do whatever they please whether it is moral or not and they deserve
the consequences of their actions. In conclusion, human personality is the essential character of a
human being. It is not clear what uplifts and what degrades human personality because it is human

My Personal Success Profile
How do you think your personality is? Is it good, or is it bad? You may not know right now but I
know how mine is with the success profile I have done twice already this year. You can really see
the difference between the two. Some of the reasons behind this is because of JROTC, High school
and my friends.
The first success profiler I did had all the scores with my personality in the middle. Since I just
started JROTC that was the usual score. Then I started working hard in JROTC I did activities and
learned the creed. The creed helped me learn respect for myself and others and most importantly how
to treat everyone in the school. Also with JROTC I have been taught many ways to keep my anger
on a shelf and to not show my anger. My second success

Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits
Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I
should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady.
I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to
get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of
my life. I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't
really show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at life as
if something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and
improve what you did wrong if it's possible....show more content...
I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to
trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also
taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is
shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try
as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than
psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying
that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the
article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs conducts different forms of
psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents
differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations
on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret
them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different
approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality
makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited

My Personality Paper
My Personality Paper: Erikson's Theory of Psychosocial Development in Application Theory
Description Erikson's theory is rooted in what he called the eight stages of psychosocial
development which include trust vs. mistrust, autonomy vs. shame, initiative vs guilt, industry vs.
inferiority, ego identity vs. role confusion, intimacy vs. isolation, generativity vs. stagnation, and
ego vs. despair. He believed that the personality and life choices of an individual were subject to
how they dealt with the crises of the previous stage(s), and that each stage had its own ego crisis to
be resolved into a balanced outcome (Friedman & Schustack, 2012, p. 135). The unsuccessful
completion of a stage would negatively impact one's disposition, and ability...show more content...
I challenged my past and future through the examination, and remediation of faulty thinking,
practiced self–acceptance, created new beliefs that fit my spirituality and desired reality,
humanized men, and forgave those who failed me horribly, including myself. I have moved
forward from inferiority, role confusion, and isolation (versus introversion), to having a successful
10 year relationship and marriage with my best friend, and establishing a career that I continue to
build upon so that I can better contribute to society. Today I am comfortable in my skin, confident,
and capable of handling what life brings. I am even more creative, open, outgoing, and am able to
love unconditionally. And according to Erikson's generativity vs. stagnation stage, I am finally
right on time. I am certainly looking forward to the ego integrity vs. despair stage where I will
travel even more, learning about different worlds and cultures, and thus enriching my own. The fact
that I can see my own journey of personal development within Erikson's theory gives me absolute
confidence that, even when events cause me to go sideways, there is still a

I am as a person or is there something else make–up who we are as human being. Have I ever took a
personality test that answer will be no I have not taking one but will like to take one to learn
more about what type characteristic shape my personality. I would expect the personality test to

According self tests using the Five Factor Model, my personality has low extraversion and emotional stability, a high degree of openness, and moderate levels of agreeableness and conscientiousness. Low extraversion is demonstrated in both professional and social envionments. While working a corporate job as a financial analyst, taking the time and initiative to interact with coworkers beyond the scope of the job was limited to a brief conversation once a day with the same two people. In large social gatherings, interactions are limited to familiar people with whom I have pre–existing friendships. If I attend a concert by myself, I will bring a book to read in between musical acts to prevent people from speaking to me. Low emotional...show more content... Agreeableness is average, meaning I do not try to be either cooperative or antagonistic towards others. I generally take a laissez–faire approach to my relationships and do not have an invested interest because I do not believe I can significantly impact the long–term well being of others. During conversations, I do not inquire specifically about their personal lives, I let the other person tell me what they are comfortable about talking about and what they want me to know. Conscientiousness is also average. I have a fair balance of structure and spontaneity. There is just enough control and regulation in impulses to maintain a harmonized flow of daily life that will allow for spontaneous activities. For example, school work is more or less planned out by the day to prevent falling behind, but I will still embark on spontaneous adventures of bicycle rides to abandoned warehouse roof tops at midnight on a school night. Survey results are consistent with how I view myself generally. While it is impossible to be completely objective in self evaluations, I think I am fairly in tune with my inter– and intra–relationships because I make an effort to heed feedback. When interacting with others I pay attention to their facial expressions, body language, tone of voice, and not only their words, but their silences. b. Compared to PSU student averages, extraversion falls mainly in the lower third or lower mid–range, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Personality Essay George Bernard Shaw once said, "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." As we age, we create ourselves by developing unique personalities. It differs from each individual because of our own perspective, values, and experiences in life. Personality is a mixture of distinctive behaviors, thoughts, motives and emotions that characterize over time. Since I've never paid attention to what personalities I have, it was difficult for me to determine what trait of personalities that I adapted. But, I frequently get told that I am sweet, caring, approachable, and have charisma. I took 3 personality tests to further understand my personality. The tests I took was the Myers–Briggs, Temperament, and the Big 5 Personality...show more content... I give out encouragement and positivity towards my friends. Now, almost half of all my friends look up to me for advices. As I read through the results, it says that ENFPs are energized by being around others. That statement is true because being social makes me feel lively. Furthermore, ENFPs tends to procrastinate. A great example of my procrastination is starting on this paper when it's due the next 12 hours. Overall, the Myer–Briggs Test slightly gave me a much more detailed insight of who I am. My friends and the test results shared similar answers about my personality. Therefore, I agree with the test because it fits my description of what my peers sees in me and as well as how I see myself. The second test I took was the Temperament Test that contains four fundamental personality types. One of the four types I received was sanguine. According to the test, sanguines tend to be a social, easily amused and optimistic people. The results were quite similar to the previous test and as well as my reasonings. But as I mentioned before, I love being positive. It's a healthy relationship between society and our own mental state. It has countless benefits that I wouldn't wish to trade anything more or equally as powerful. Being positive comes along with being optimistic. Usually having those qualities are the bases of being social since it attracts others to hang out with the ones that seems uplifting. The major reason why I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Human Personality Essay A quote that I live by is, "People don't always behave the way you want them to, but it doesn't mean the way they behave is wrong." This says to me that I cannot change anyone because I do not understand or like the way someone does something. Trying to do this is trying to change one's human personality. Human personality is what makes a person distinctive, unique, and exceptional. Every person has a different personality and some personalities mesh better than others. Human personality should always be praised and no one should ever put anyone down for having a different personality. It is truly just allowing people to be who they are unless they are in violation of other human's rights. Just as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Any...show more content... Examples of laws like this would be: wearing a seat belt, the possession of guns, the right to abortion, and the ability to buy alcohol on Sundays. These types of laws are there because someone else says that it is wrong to do these things. Trying to prevent supposedly wrong things from happening seems like good intent but is actually unjust. An example of this is seat belt laws that try to prevent anyone from getting seriously hurt in the event of a car accident. But if the driver or their passengers do not want to buckle up why should the law force them. It may seem strange for some people to not want to wear their seat belt but it is just because they have a different personality. The only just laws are the ones that punish those that actually degrade someone's human personality. Rape, murder, robbery, and fraud are all examples of this. When someone rapes another they are taking away their free will to do whatever they choose. And those who commit that crime should be punished. But to create laws to prevent rapes from occurring is unjust. These types of laws assume that people will do wrong and that their human personality is wrong. People have the right to do whatever they please whether it is moral or not and they deserve the consequences of their actions. In conclusion, human personality is the essential character of a human being. It is not clear what uplifts and what degrades human personality because it is human nature to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. My Personal Success Profile How do you think your personality is? Is it good, or is it bad? You may not know right now but I know how mine is with the success profile I have done twice already this year. You can really see the difference between the two. Some of the reasons behind this is because of JROTC, High school and my friends. The first success profiler I did had all the scores with my personality in the middle. Since I just started JROTC that was the usual score. Then I started working hard in JROTC I did activities and learned the creed. The creed helped me learn respect for myself and others and most importantly how to treat everyone in the school. Also with JROTC I have been taught many ways to keep my anger on a shelf and to not show my anger. My second success Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady. I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of my life. I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't really show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at life as if something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and improve what you did wrong if it's possible....show more content... I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs conducts different forms of psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Adolescents and Young Adults. • 8. My Personality Paper My Personality Paper: Erikson's Theory of Psychosocial Development in Application Theory Description Erikson's theory is rooted in what he called the eight stages of psychosocial development which include trust vs. mistrust, autonomy vs. shame, initiative vs guilt, industry vs. inferiority, ego identity vs. role confusion, intimacy vs. isolation, generativity vs. stagnation, and ego vs. despair. He believed that the personality and life choices of an individual were subject to how they dealt with the crises of the previous stage(s), and that each stage had its own ego crisis to be resolved into a balanced outcome (Friedman & Schustack, 2012, p. 135). The unsuccessful completion of a stage would negatively impact one's disposition, and ability...show more content... I challenged my past and future through the examination, and remediation of faulty thinking, practiced self–acceptance, created new beliefs that fit my spirituality and desired reality, humanized men, and forgave those who failed me horribly, including myself. I have moved forward from inferiority, role confusion, and isolation (versus introversion), to having a successful 10 year relationship and marriage with my best friend, and establishing a career that I continue to build upon so that I can better contribute to society. Today I am comfortable in my skin, confident, and capable of handling what life brings. I am even more creative, open, outgoing, and am able to love unconditionally. And according to Erikson's generativity vs. stagnation stage, I am finally right on time. I am certainly looking forward to the ego integrity vs. despair stage where I will travel even more, learning about different worlds and cultures, and thus enriching my own. The fact that I can see my own journey of personal development within Erikson's theory gives me absolute confidence that, even when events cause me to go sideways, there is still a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
