20. Pre Program
Thank you for the opportunity to
attend the Type Design
Workshop at the State Library
of Victoria. I consider myself
privileged as I could see many
more people trying to join and
not being able as you were fully
subscribed. Your welcome and
introduction of the night and
expectations was clear.
21. Program experience
Paul Hanslow is a very effective and
knowledgeable presenter. He was professional
and engaging. The interactivity among
participants was total. The trouble shooting
assistance of Simmone was great. I applaud
the ease and simplicity of engaging with the
technology – no problems with the AV
projection, convoluted logins, program
crashes, etc. It is also good to be able to access
the PDF of the presentation; it is a great
memory jogger with the right amount of
information
.
22. Post Program
During the workshop I was able
to create some characters, save
the files and even generate the
font set (albeit not complete)
and install it. I walked away
very pleased to have attended.
Do not regret my travelling
from Geelong – You delivered
in all accounts.
24. State Library Victoria Vision
Being a place where all Victorians
can discover, learn, create and
connect; a cultural heritage
destination for Victorians; and a
leader in the discovery of
information, enabling the generation
of new knowledge and ideas.
27. Community Programs Goal
We actively seek to bring people
together and connect all
Victorians with the Library – its
people, collection and space –
through inspiring programs.
28. Program focus areas
• Promote our unique
collections
• Be a catalyst for
ideas, discussion and
debate
• Promote reading and
literacy
• Provide leadership to
develop the Library
sector
