2. •OERs makes education accessible for all!
•No expensive books to buy.
•Education can happen anywhere – rural or urban
areas.
•Multiple mediums make learning easier for all
learning styles.
•Students can prep for class or review material post
class from their own home.
3. •Not everyone has ready access to a computer.
• Not everyone knows how to use a computer for homework
or how to load videos or flat books.
•There is a learning curve for student and
teacher (for homework, communication, etc.)
•Start up money to begin a class based on
OERs will end, and funds may not be
available to continue.
•There may be public resistance to this new
way of teaching and learning.
