Thesis Statement
Illegal immigration has increased the level of discriminatory
practices. Illegal immigrants are being mistreated because they
are not citizens of the United States.
· There were 10.5 million unauthorized immigrants in the U.S.
in 2017, representing 3.2% of the total U.S. population that
year.
· The U.S. civilian workforce includes 7.6 million unauthorized
immigrants, representing a decline since 2007.
1. Immigrants are allowed housing in the United States under
the fair housing act but owners can be discriminatory by
denying there housing application
2. The Department of Homeland Security says 340,056 people
were removed from the U.S. in fiscal 2016.
3. ICE ran a fake University in Michigan to catch illegal
immigrants.
4. ICE is also pretending to be the CDC by giving fake corona
virus screening.
Discussion
Discriminatory practices on Illegal immigration has been around
for many years. In March 1790 the United States congress
passed the first law on who should be granted citizenship. This
act was called the Naturalization Act of 1790. It allowed
individuals who lived in the United States for two or more years
to apply for citizenship. Those who were not citizens of the US
were denied to vote, testify in court, and own their own

Immigrants come to the United States believing that they will
have a better life and more opportunity than what they had in
their countries. When they arrive in the United States they
realize that this is all a lie.
Immigrants come into the United States and utilize more
resources to sustain immigrants than their own citizens.
Summary
Overall, discriminatory practices have been an issue for many
illegal immigrants. It must come to an end because they are just
like anyone else who deserve the same rights. These individuals
are hard workers who strive to have a better life. Illegal
immigrants have families to support and take care of. These
individuals are just looking for a way to survive. They tend to
put themselves in situations that other people wouldn't do just
to make a living.
