West Texas A&M

a 1-1 week with a heartbreaking, three-overtime loss
to Angelo State 112-111 and a 62-41 win at Texas
A&M-Kingsville to remain one half game ahead in the
league standings...WT is 20-2 on the year and 9-2 in
Lone Star Conference play as the Lady Buffs won 20
or more games in a season for the 26th time since
1980-81 and for the fourth-straight year...The triple
overtime game was the longest for WT since 1980-
81 and the 112-111 score was the first time both
teams have scored in the 100’s since then, too...
It also marked the highest scoring game between
two teams...The loss snapped a string of 25-straight
home wins and 24 home conference game winning
streak dating back to 2012-13 *regular season)...The
Lady Buffs played LSC foe Cameron in a home non-
conference game in the NCAA Tournament in 2015
for the 25th home win against a conference team
(24 regular season)...It also was the longest game for
Angelo State in Rambelle history....Senior Michaela
Neuhaus continued on her tear this year as she
buried a career-high seven triples against ASU and
played 53 minutes which was a career-best...For the
week she drained nine triples and shot 13 of 24 from
the field...Neuhaus led the way with 12 assists for the
week...
