How much do we care about?
N
owadays, we can see several kind of problems on the news that are affecting our society but, do we really care about them? Or do we just give opinions about it? Not taking into account social classes, all of us are human being that is the reason why people feels the need to help the others.
As everybody knows, most of the problems around the world are related with the government programs which have politics that helps only a part of our society but what about the other one? Well, little does people know about how politics work but that piece of information give us the clue to talk about something that are influencing our life’s.
Usually we can hear people talking about how politics are affecting us and how politicians are stealing our money but, nobody talk about the role we play as compatriots. The nation is constituted by ourselves, we are responsible of the management some people does with the politics but; it’s hard assume the responsibility when we can blaming others. Almost 99% of the population is in agreement with the idea which all the politic problems come true because of the politicians but, in the other hand, people think everybody has been part of those problems.
Everything works as a system of things, therefore a community declines when the majority of its citizens become selfish, and under this influence it slowly dismantles all the restraints upon self-indulgence established by manners, customs, beliefs and law: tradition. As each subsequent generation of selfish citizens inherits control of the community, it takes its opportunity to abandon more of the restraints that genius and wisdom had installed; because we can not forget that most of the rules have been studied carefully by experts to be applied in our political system. Also, we can not put aside the fact it is not true that not only is people responsible for their own lives and problems but also they are responsible for problems which affect other persons. As social beings, humans are more than simple beings which are full of needs; human beings are essentially communicative beings and we are called to share with other people, in the way in which every single person is essentially constituted by the you and the society. The goal is mutual: give and take part of the personal values as well as participate in the variety of the social structures.
As human beings, everyone needs to have goals (social, economic, homely, spiritual, etc.). The hope to achieve those goals gives us our inner peace; and it helps us to face the challenges. That’s why almost 87% of the population believes it is worse to keep things the way they are; that percentage of people thinks that things could get better if we all fight for the same cause. The hopefulness is pervaded in all of us; that’s the reason why we all believe there is a hope when things get worse.
Everything starts at home, if people were aware about things happen because of us, we could change several king of problems that are affecting us. Everybody plays an important role in our society but there are some people who are in charge of important organizations, like politicians, that have to make important decisions as well. In this case, how can we blame somebody who is in charge of a bunch of stuff which could affect us if we chose the wrong person? Here, people need to have clear their mind and think what kind of government we do really want for us. All that the really have is the opportunities to control and change the world. If everyone contributed, all we can turn the roles and change all things that are freaking us out. But, to do this it is not necessary do revolutions or start wars for this, what we only need to do is argue for our ideals not forcing or fighting to achieve them.
It is known that most of the problems happen because of the government and 93% is true but, you need to think that if we chose the right people to manage our society, things are going to change from worse to better. If only we chose qualified leaders and people with strongly held values, we could help ourselves to get a better quality of life. It doesn’t mean the fact that helping people mean to give everyone things they don’t deserve; everybody has to work as if everyone were the same to gain all they want. Laziness is not the solution to leave out our problems. 86% of population thinks what we really need to have a better quantity of life is to think in other person’s problems and not only mine, to help others, to get responsibilities, to encourage life together and also encourage stronger labor unions, and finally, to end the idea in which rich people are getting richer and poor people getting poorer; we need to change our mind to change our world.
