  1. 1. Cathedral of Cologne <ul><li>The building of Cathedral of Cologne was started in 1270 and took 600 years to complete. It is 144.5 m long, 86.5 m wide and its two towers are 157 m tall and consist of five nefs. Central nef is the biggest on high. The Cathedral holds the remains of the Three Kings and was one of the most important pilgrim churches of the Medieval Europe. </li></ul>

This great sarcophagus is from the 13th century and is considered to be the largest reliquary in the western world. The sarcophagus is thought to hold the remains of the three wise men.
