This document outlines a marketing pitch for Canon to attract younger photographers aged 15-25. The pitch involves advertising a small, compact camera that can be taken anywhere, featuring it in colorful ads inspired by Vogue magazine. The ads will include bright pictures showing the progression of natural beauty like the sky during the day and moon at night, captured using Canon cameras. They will also include a personal story from the author about how Canon has helped them develop in photography. The goal is to engage the target audience by relating to their interests and experiences starting out in photography with Canon equipment.

4. My ideas
My aims-
I would like to get more young people involved with
photography. To solve this I am going to be advertising a camera
that is small and compact that can be taken anywhere.
I also would like to set this out inspired by vogue magazines to
make it look more fancy and appealing to my target audience. I
am going to be using bright colours to make it look more
attractive as well as bright and colourful as I would like to show
the journey and progression of the sky and the natural beaty
within itself. In my advertorial I would like to include some of
these picture. In contrast, I will be using pictures I have used
during the night such as the moon and making sure I explain
how canon has helped me develop my journey and my
photography in my studies and hobbies. I may also add a
personal section in my advertorial as I would like the reader to
relate to me and how I started with canon and how far I have
progressed. I feel as though I will be able to target my audience
specifically as I relate to them so I can use thing that attract me
to adverts when I draft and produce mine.
8. Presenting my pitch
This is a voice recording of me
presenting my pitch to some of my
peers. I went through my given
PowerPoint and explained my aims
and what my initial ideas are. I
explained some inspiration behind
my ideas as shown on my
PowerPoint. I wanted to do this as
proof of presentation so that I can
look back on what I have explained
to people and make sure that I have
clearly stated my argument as to why
I want to do the ideas I have chosen.
9. Feedback focus group
This is a short focus group video receiving
feedback on my pitch and my ideas. Many
people said there isn’t anything that needs to
be changed therefore I am going to be sticking
with my initial thoughts, and really try and
attract my audience. I will use feedback given
to do this. It is very important that I receive this
kind of constructive criticism as it can hep
forward me onto the right path to successfully
engaging my audience.
