2. MY ADVERT
These are some of the original
photos that I had taken however I
realised that I wanted a better and
more high quality photo instead.
Therefore I used other images I had
took on the camera. I felt as though
it was important to take multiple
photos based of a few ideas instead
of setting it on one initial thought as
I can then construct and build upon
my thoughts.
3. This is the image that I decided to use. I
thought that it looks really simple and eye
catching. As well as this many people have said
that they like astrology therefore this will
attract my target audience. I also felt as though
the colours are really pretty but simple and can
use effective editing to show a tagline and the
brands logo in the centre of the moon. I want
the idea to be short and simple but yet still
effect and make my audience interact with my
advert.
5. EXPLAIN SLIDE ABOVE
As we can see from the image , I tried to make my advert look simple and
effective. I didn’t colourise the image as I wanted to show the full effect of the
camera. I added the canon logo and changed the colour to black as I wanted to
create a shadow on the moon however that was very challenging as the 3D
aspect of photoshop wasn’t loading. I then used my initiative to try and google
how to do this yet I was unsuccessful so I decided to add stroke and increase the
outline as a replacement and I was very happy with this. I also had some issues
with the writing on the image as it was very blurry however I copied all of my
work onto another layer and changed my font to a serif style. I was very happy
with my overall result. I feel as though I have really developed my image and my
idea through the process.
6. MAGAZINE COVER
This is an example of a photo I was going
to use, I wanted to be inspired by journeys
as interpreted on the brief. However I
thought that the image was hard to read
and that it was also too dark to understand
the image therefore if I add extra text and
images around the outside it would be
hard to understand.
7. This is the image that I decided to use. I took
this with the camera, I thought that it had a
really nice progression and that it
represented the brief , I also thought that it
was very colourful and eye catching. This is
important as it would be able to hold my
target audiences attention so that they can
recognise the cover for the colours and
brightness. It also links to the themes that
my audience said they liked in y focus group.

9. EXPLAIN THE SLIDE ABOVE
When doing my magazine front cover I managed to add quite a lot of images
in , this will have been my main challenge as I was struggling to remove
backgrounds. I eventually used the internet help guide to do this. I also had
to expand the image as it was too small and I didn't want to zoom in too far
and loose some of my image therefore to change this I had to use the colour
pen tool to help blend the tool; and the eraser pen to erase any mistakes.
There was a few issues with the writing as I have used two different fonts
throughout. As well as this I also managed to add some shapes and extra
images that had to be copied from another layer. Other than the issues I
gathered along the way I feel as though my magazine cover looks how I
wanted it. Next time I will be able to use the skills I have learned to develop
my work further.
