Local people have been sharing ideas about the Lymington Open Air Sea Water Baths since they were closed in 2008. This project has developed an online discussion group to involve skilled local people and community groups in exploring concepts for a multi-purpose Lymington Sea Water Centre.

Project Timetable 20/01/10 The Sea Water Centre discussions identifies main Stakeholder Groups (SG): SG1 Wet Leisure SG2 Dry Leisure SG3 Water Awareness and Training SG4 Water Experience (have a go - water tourism) SG5 Marine Education Trust (schools, marine education) SG6 Destination Management Government, Tourism, Business & Transport SG7 Catering café, restaurant, events SG8 Facility Management Structural/Marketing/Administration Specialists for each area are being asked to come forward from existing groups to assess viability and create an interim viability analysis. Additional expertise and specialists may be added . (Some of the Stakeholder Groups particularly Wet leisure, are being divided to ensure specialist study for each significant area). Questionnaires are being created to identify needs and wishes.
