Human Resource Management of FPT Software Company.
1. Executive Summary
The aim of this assignment is to investigate the issue job satisfaction in company
sector, especially the FPT Software Company. The factors affect to employees job
satisfaction, its correlates and consequences are identified to provide the general picture
of this issue so that the probably solution can be offered to improve the outcome which
create the need for this research timely. This research project was based on review of
relevant literature and short form of modified Satisfaction Questionnaires sent to FPT
employees. The findings underline that most of employees satisfied with their job.
Keywords: participant observation, qualitative research methods, qualitative data,
longitudinal case work, Software Industry case
2. Problem Statement
This paper is dedicated to the research of performance management which is an
important function of the human resource management in the business entities. The
performance management process in organizations has conflicting purposes. It is used to
determine merit increases, performance feedback for work done, training needs and also
as a key tool in succession planning as well as keep the employees dedicated to the high
level of performance, therefore it would be an interesting topic and constructive study to
look into a real company’s performance management practices. And in this study, i have
selected a Vietnam local company, FPT Software the Ho Chi Minh for the convenience
of study. Below are some background information about the company.

To understand the core competitiveness of Company FPT is that it provides small-
to-mid-size companies with a breadth and depth of human resources solutions which are
usually available only from the largest companies. And some of the Human Resources
Outsourcing services are:

To identify the HR issues and challenges, to collect reflections from the
employees regarding job content, work environment, compensations and other HR
issues, To generate solutions and suggestions for further improvement on the identified
issues to improve the employee performance.

5. Literature Review
This literature review will examine the key issues surrounding employee job
satisfaction in Software. The selected theories on definitions, determinants, correlates
and consequences will be elaborated and job satisfaction’s measurement will be
discussed.
6. Justification
Current human resource management policies, Performance management policies,
Performance Management is one of the key processes that, when effectively carried out,
helps employees know that their contributions are recognized and acknowledged.
Performance management is an ongoing process of communication between a supervisor
and an employee that occurs throughout the year, in support of accomplishing the
strategic objectives of the organization.
7 Researchdesign
Qualitative research in term of observation and survey will be done to reveal the
employees’ range of behaviors and the perceptions about their job and compensations to
see how effective the human resource management is and what are the challenges and
possible difficulties:Research Methodology; Data collection method; Sampling;
Procedure of implementation; Data analysis
Research result
This result much be answer some question
1. What is the overall level of job satisfaction of FPT employees?
2. Which factors are the most important to employees?
3. What level of job satisfaction do FPT employees report on each of the
dimensions of the job as measured by the modified Minnesota Satisfaction
Questionnaire?

8. Conclusions and Implication
From the analysis above, again we have come to the confirmation of the
view that if done correctly, performance management communicate what is
important to the organization, drives employees to achieve important goals and
implements the organization’s strategies, but if it is done poorly, performance
management significant negative consequences for organizations, managers, and
employees, and management who design and conduct performance management
ineffectively will not only fail to realize its benefits

Prepare by: Name: Mach Phi Long Class: MBA OUM0512, Stutdent ID: 2448453 Page 1 Research Method Human Resource Management of FPT Software Company. 1. Executive Summary The aim of this assignment is to investigate the issue job satisfaction in company sector, especially the FPT Software Company. The factors affect to employees job satisfaction, its correlates and consequences are identified to provide the general picture of this issue so that the probably solution can be offered to improve the outcome which create the need for this research timely. This research project was based on review of relevant literature and short form of modified Satisfaction Questionnaires sent to FPT employees. The findings underline that most of employees satisfied with their job. Keywords: participant observation, qualitative research methods, qualitative data, longitudinal case work, Software Industry case 2. Problem Statement This paper is dedicated to the research of performance management which is an important function of the human resource management in the business entities. The performance management process in organizations has conflicting purposes. It is used to determine merit increases, performance feedback for work done, training needs and also as a key tool in succession planning as well as keep the employees dedicated to the high level of performance, therefore it would be an interesting topic and constructive study to look into a real company’s performance management practices. And in this study, i have selected a Vietnam local company, FPT Software the Ho Chi Minh for the convenience of study. Below are some background information about the company. 3. Company background To understand the core competitiveness of Company FPT is that it provides small- to-mid-size companies with a breadth and depth of human resources solutions which are usually available only from the largest companies. And some of the Human Resources Outsourcing services are: 4. Research objectives To identify the HR issues and challenges, to collect reflections from the employees regarding job content, work environment, compensations and other HR issues, To generate solutions and suggestions for further improvement on the identified issues to improve the employee performance.

Literature Review This literature review will examine the key issues surrounding employee job satisfaction in Software. The selected theories on definitions, determinants, correlates and consequences will be elaborated and job satisfaction’s measurement will be discussed. 6. Justification Current human resource management policies, Performance management policies, Performance Management is one of the key processes that, when effectively carried out, helps employees know that their contributions are recognized and acknowledged. Performance management is an ongoing process of communication between a supervisor and an employee that occurs throughout the year, in support of accomplishing the strategic objectives of the organization. 7 Researchdesign Qualitative research in term of observation and survey will be done to reveal the employees’ range of behaviors and the perceptions about their job and compensations to see how effective the human resource management is and what are the challenges and possible difficulties:Research Methodology; Data collection method; Sampling; Procedure of implementation; Data analysis Research result This result much be answer some question 1. What is the overall level of job satisfaction of FPT employees? 2. Which factors are the most important to employees? 3. What level of job satisfaction do FPT employees report on each of the dimensions of the job as measured by the modified Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire? Discussion Roomfor improvement 8.
