2. One Direction Is a British-Irish boy band consisting of members Niall Horan ,Zyan Malik , Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson . Each of the five members applied as solo contestants, but failed to qualify for the Boys category. After a suggestion by guest judge Nicole Scherzinger, the five teens were put into a band, thus qualifying for the Groups category.
3. JLS Are a British boy band, consisting of members Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritsé Williams and JB Gill. They originally signed to Tracklacers production company New Track City and then went on to become runners-up of the fifth series of ITV reality talent show The X Factor in 2008, coming second to Alexandra Burke. As of 2011, the band have sold 3.8 Million records.
4. The Wanted The Wanted are an English/Irish pop boy band based in London and was first established in 2009. The group's line-up comprises of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes. The band's debut single "All Time Low" was released in July 2010 and reached number one in the United Kingdom.
