The cyclops polyphemus
 Odysseus

easily gets
Polyphemus
drunk, blinds him, and
escapes by riding
underneath the rams
that the blinded giant
turns out to graze in
the morning.

 They

left polyphemus
blinded on the shore.

longed for Narcissus.

Nemesis grant the prayer of
one of the desperate
maiden “may he who loves
not others love himself”



Narcissus saw his reflection
on the pool and fell in love
with it.



He died there. The nymps
wanted to give him burial
but can’t find him.



Instead they saw beautiful
flower and named it after
him.

The festival of hyacinthus
That lasts throughout the
tranquil night,
In a contest with Apollo
He was slain,
Discus throwing they
competed,
And the god’s swift cast
Sped beyond the goal he aimed
at.

Aphrodite loved Adonis and
carried to Perssephone to take
charge of him for her.



But Persephone loved Adonis
as well, and would not give
Adonis back to Aphrodite.



Zeus decided that Adonis spent
time with Persephone during
autumn and winter while with
Aphrodite during spring and
summer.

One sad day, when Adonis was with

boar, he hurled his spear at it but he

His blood turned the grass green and
bloom a beautiful flower, ADONIS.
