  40. 40. We need to be reverent Christians for us to experience what it really means to be a child of God.
  41. 41. 3 Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? 5 They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their Savior. 4 Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. Psalm 24:3-5
  42. 42. WHO IS THE REVERENT AMONG US? To be a Christian without any regard to God’s holiness is an oxymoron. We can never say we love Him if we don’t respect His words. We can never say we truly desire Him if we are being selective in our obedience to His commands.
  43. 43. “If we don’t want to experience God’s closeness here on earth, why would we want to go to heaven anyway? He is the center of everything there. If we don’t enjoy being in His presence here and now, then heaven would not be heaven for us. Why would He send anyone there who doesn’t long for Him passionately here on earth?” - Jim Cymbala
  44. 44. In these times when “people do whatever seemed right in their own eyes”, how will you prove that you are reverent?
