The exhibition on the Holocaust effectively conveyed the scale of Nazi camps across Europe through clear visuals and details of prisoner transportation. The student found it a strange and sad experience, reminding them of humanity's capacity for atrocities. They were especially struck by a photo of imprisoned Spanish republicans, as it revealed how some Spaniards also fled danger and persecution at home only to be captured and eventually killed by the Nazis.

1. EXHIBITION ON THE HOLOCAUST
I think the exposition was really clear and visual, making you understand how many camps
there were in Europe (which I didn’t know), and what the vehicles they were transported in
looked like. In general, I had a strange and sad feeling. Sometimes we forget the horrible
things humankind is able to do.
The panel that impressed me the most was the photo of all the Spanish republicans. Not
because it was the most explicit or sad one, but because I would have never imagined that
some Spanish people were also imprisoned. The fact that they had to flee from their home,
looking for a better place to live, and when they thought they had escaped the danger they
were captured by the Nazis, makes me miserable. They went through many difficult
situations just to end up being forced to work, and then, exterminated.
