What is Capstone?? <ul><li>Capstone is a two-semester, six-hour course that allows you to showcase your technological know-how while earning certification from the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). You can also earn graduate credit through affiliated institutions. Some colleges are now offering this certification combined with teaching certificates and bachelor’s degrees. </li></ul>

What is the ISTE? <ul><li>The ISTE publishes the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS*T) and Students (NETS*S). These standards define the readiness our teachers and students should exhibit. </li></ul><ul><li>Capstone is a way for teachers to prove proficiency in the integration of technology into lesson planning and teaching. </li></ul>
