1. BAKED POTATOES
Ingredients
For 4 people
4 large potatoes
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
some sea salt
4 generous knobs of butter
Utensils

Directions
Pre-heat the oven at 180º. Wash the potatoes and rinse them well under
your cold running tap. Dry the potatoes between two pieces of kitchen roll.
Pierce each potato with a fork 8-10 times. Then place them into a large
bowl, pull over the oil and mix well with your hands ensuring that they are
all well coated and add a generous amount of salt.
Now place the potatoes in the centre of the oven on a wire rack and bake
for 1 hour until they become crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft in the
middle.
Remove from the oven and transfer them onto a large serving plate.
Make a long slit along the potato but not completely to the edge, then make
a slit downwards to create a cross. Push each potato together to open it up
and add a generous knob of butter.
Serve. You can serve them on their own or with a wide variety of toppings
such as grated cheese or baked beans
