1. As a youngster Lil Dice is subjected to violence by
adults. He is surrounded by guns, murder, drugs
and violence and is introduced to the criminal
world at a very early age. He eventually kills one
of his tormentors when he is still a child.
Lil Ze is eventually surrounded and
killed by ‘The Runts’ as they take their
revenge for Lil Ze’s acts against them.
Their actions mirror the actions taken Lil Ze gains his power through
by Lil Dice earlier in the film and violence, drugs and murder. He quickly
complete the cycle of violence in one turning in to those adults who abused
generation. him as a youngster.
When in control of the city Lil Ze
demonstrates his power by forcing ‘the
runts’ to shoot one another before he
himself shoots a child in the foot. He is
repeating the violence that he saw as a
youngster himself.
